Soin Drainage is Caoru’s original Japanese facial massage method, developed and refined through years of professional practice and international training.
The treatment goes beyond the face, working across the décolleté, shoulders, neck, face, and head. It begins with a Welcome Massage as a pre-treatment, followed by Caoru’s unique Four-Zone Diagnosis, which assesses the skin and facial condition across four distinct zones to guide the treatment.
Soin Drainage brings together Japanese-style techniques, Japanese-style Shiatsu (Japanese acupressure point techniques), stretching, French soin techniques including effleurage, and lymphatic drainage techniques learned in Italy. Drawing on Caoru’s professional training and experience in Japan and internationally, these elements have been carefully integrated and structured into one distinctive Japanese facial massage method.
Rather than following the same treatment for every client, the Four-Zone Diagnosis allows the technique to be adapted to individual conditions while maintaining a systematic treatment structure.
Soin Drainage has also been published in Japan as a professional facial massage training DVD, reflecting the method’s established training system and professional foundation.

L'eclat Beauty Academy is a professional beauty academy based in Tokyo, Japan, led by beauty expert Caoru.
After studying facial and body treatment techniques at beauty schools in Paris, France, and Milan, Italy, Caoru began sharing the techniques, skills, and knowledge she had acquired throughout her career with beauty schools and beauty professionals.
In 2018, in response to requests from beauty professionals, she began offering small-group classes where students could learn her techniques directly. Today, L'eclat Beauty Academy provides professional training in facial treatments, skincare, facial massage, and head massage, including Soin Drainage, Caoru’s original Japanese facial massage method.
Our programs combine professional knowledge with hands-on practical training. Courses are available for beginners as well as experienced beauty professionals who wish to further develop their skills.
Upon completion of eligible courses, students receive a Certificate of Completion from L'eclat Beauty Academy. A diploma from the Japan Beauty Professionals Association is also available for qualifying programs and students (*conditions apply).
We welcome students from Japan and around the world. Training is available for individuals and beauty professionals, as well as salons, spas, beauty schools, and other businesses.

Caoru is a Japanese beauty expert, educator, and facial treatment specialist with extensive experience in professional beauty education.
While studying welfare at junior college, she entered the beauty industry with the desire to pursue a career that could help people.
Throughout her career, Caoru has trained beauty professionals as an instructor and has provided skincare and beauty advice to more than 150,000 people.
She has studied facial and body treatment techniques in Japan and internationally, including at beauty schools in Paris, France, and Milan, Italy. Drawing on this professional experience and international training, she developed Soin Drainage, her original Japanese facial massage method.
Today, Caoru provides professional training to beginners and experienced beauty professionals, sharing Japanese facial techniques, skincare knowledge, and practical treatment skills with students from Japan and around the world.
In 2022, she produced and launched the organic cleansing milk “MY GOOD SKIN.”

Participants learn the essential cleansing techniques required for professional facial treatments.
Based on these causes, knowledge of physiological anatomy and other aspects of the face is necessary, and it is important to always be aware of the direction of flow of the skull, muscles, blood, and lymph, in particular, while performing the techniques.

In Foundation II, participants learn professional techniques in a four-part curriculum.
This popular Japanese facial massage combines five techniques: pinching, kneading, drainage, loosening, and acupressure. The treatment is designed to release facial tension and create a more refined and defined facial appearance.
Crumplesage is Caoru’s original Japanese head massage method, combining head massage and scalp-loosening techniques.
The head is divided into three zones, and participants learn precise finger positioning, pressure direction, and body-weight control to perform the techniques comfortably and effectively.
Developed through Caoru’s years of professional experience, Crumplesage is designed as a practical technique that can be incorporated into professional salon and spa treatment menus.
The course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced beauty professionals, therapists, and head spa professionals who wish to learn or further develop professional head massage techniques.
Japanese head massage is a hands-on technique that gently works on the scalp and head to help release tension and promote relaxation. By carefully working with the scalp and head muscles, the treatment provides a deeply relaxing experience and can be incorporated into professional salon and spa treatment menus.

Upon completion of your course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion from L’eclat Beauty Academy.
For students who wish to obtain additional professional recognition, an optional Diploma from the Japan Beauty Professionals Association (JBPA) is also available.
To receive the Diploma, students are required to complete an additional practical skills assessment and meet the required standards.
Diploma Assessment & Issuance Fee: ¥10,000
The Diploma is optional. Most students receive the Certificate of Completion from L’eclat Beauty Academy upon completing their course.
