The Japan Beauty Professional Association (JBPA) was established to connect Japanese Beauty with beauty professionals and businesses around the world.
We believe Japanese Beauty is more than technique. It represents professional skills, thoughtful client care, hospitality, high-quality beauty products, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Through our international network, JBPA connects salons, spas, beauty schools, beauty professionals, cosmetics companies, and other beauty-related businesses that share an interest in Japanese Beauty.
Our mission is to bring beauty, joy, and enriching experiences to people around the world through Japanese Beauty.

JBPA believes that Japanese Beauty is defined not only by technique, but also by the quality of care, attention to detail, hospitality, professionalism, and continuous learning.Our Japanese Beauty Standards are based on five principles:1. Beauty Expertise Based on Knowledge Professional beauty services supported by knowledge, theory, and continuous study.
2. Purposeful and Precise Techniques Every movement and technique is performed with care, precision, and a clear purpose.
3. Thoughtful Client Care Understanding each client and providing attentive, personalized care.
4. Japanese Hospitality – Omotenashi Creating a welcoming and considerate experience through the Japanese spirit of hospitality.
5. Professionalism and Continuous Learning Maintaining high professional standards while continuing to develop knowledge and skills.

First Year: Complimentary
From the Second Year: ¥33,000 per year (including tax)
General Corporate Membership
For beauty salons, spas, beauty schools, cosmetics companies, beauty brands, retailers, and other beauty-related businesses worldwide.
Annual Membership Fee: ¥66,000 (including tax)
1. Complete the membership application form.
2. JBPA will review your application.
3. Approved applicants will receive membership information and payment instructions, where applicable.
4. After registration is complete, your business may be introduced on the JBPA Worldwide Members page.
We welcome businesses and professionals who share our vision of bringing Japanese Beauty to the world.
